Naketa is the industry expert on intimacy and relationship re-invention. Her books and courses have helped hundreds of thousands of entrepreneurs and visionary leaders navigate relationship barriers, and design their destinies so that their dreams can feel attainable- despite her own setbacks in life.
In this episode, Naketa and I dive deep into the tremendous world of manifestation, the triggers that are held in our brain, and the way forward toward trust- as I like to say “so the inner critic in our mind and naysayers in the world do not block our shine.” Because if we can do it, you can too.

Most people don’t spend a lot of time thinking about how being historically excluded can give some gems, that whisper into your soul, to inspire your superpowers!
They’re used to looking outside themselves to know what’s right for them, and take in the values or opinions of others, or can lose a part of themselves as we level up.
Little do they know, with a bit more self-awareness, they could uncover what they truly, deeply want for their lives and start creating that- while including their voice in places that were historically not.
There are four questions that can help you reveal what you truly want from life, and once you take the time to answer them thoughtfully, you’ll have so much more direction.
You can have the exact life you want, but you have to know what that life is first.
In this episode, discover five questions to ask yourself to unveil your truest desires for your life, when making smart moves as a black entrepreneur or a historically excluded executive (woman of color, LGBTQIA, etc). I share my answers to these questions to inspire you to dive deep and build the self-awareness you need to know what you want and then go after it.
WHAT YOU WILL DISCOVER
How code-switching has taught you to spot blocks to your leveling up, and how to navigate passed those blocks!
How to grow your self-awareness.
The four intuitive questions that can pull you from survival mode to success, when you go after what you want- despite being historically excluded.

Have ever experienced this?
You toss and turn throughout your sleep. Wake up groggy. Snooze the alarm 1x, maybe 2x, how about 3x... that darn alarm.
You stumble through a morning fog. You’re drained, even after two cups of coffee- burnout vs brilliance is in the air. You stare at the computer screen feeling overwhelmed and not as clear about the vision of your end of year... or day... or moment. You get sucked into Email loopholes and spend the rest of the day bouncing between interruptions and cluttered mind distractions.
You finish the day knowing you’ve gotten your checklist done, but you go home to another project- and the to do lists begin again.
You want to accomplish so much. Invest in your self-care. Have your investments really count. Launch a new business or grow the one you've started. Travel. You have a vision for what your life could look like and you’re willing to take the steps needed to get there. But days, weeks, months tick by without progress.
You’ve chastised yourself to “work harder.” You’ve given your mindset the pep talk. You’ve tried motivational sticky notes.
And yet … yet … you can’t break the cycle.
Sound familiar?
Let’s talk about how to transform it.
We all have been in a moment where our minds were overcrowded with ideas, thoughts, and other people's creations. In such moments, we tend to fill as if we are losing our minds due to the many floating ideas.
When our minds are cluttered, we lose focus on the present moment, and our confidence is highly affected.
Our homes which are the starting place of love, hope, and dreams, can also be cluttered with various things, such as unused clothes, shoes, and unnecessary shopping. If our personal spaces, such as homes, become cluttered with unnecessary things, we develop a sense of disconnection towards them.
We have to declutter our homes and minds to shine and realize our well-being's full potential. Taking care of ourselves tends to be difficult when our minds and homes are cluttered. We all need someone who shows up for us when we lose sight of where we are, mostly when our minds are cluttered.
On this week's podcast, Dr. Paris Love will join me as we analyze our topic on how you can declutter your home and mind so that you can be productive and unstoppable. Dr. Paris Love is an organizer who loves making a positive impact on people's life. She is also a life coach, a professor, and a professional organizer with over ten years of experience.
It's never too late for anyone to begin the art of decluttering their mind and home.
Join us in our upcoming Self Care for Everybody Superheroes podcast, where Dr. Peris Love and I will take you through ways you can declutter your mind and home so that you can be productive and unstoppable.
This and other questions are answered in this amazing episode, with lots of gem droppers!

Today's episode helps to support your Focus on Productivity & Ways to Seek Support!
We often accept a certain level of feeling clutter in our life. How much is too much, and when do we have enough? When do we proclaim we are enough? Dr. Love has shared some tips that one can use to help others consider their needs. For example, if you bought a dress three years back, do you still want it in your closet?
In my own Caribbean household growing up, there is often a belief to close the year out, one must clear one's home. Together, Dr/ Paris & I discuss clutter, and unearth stumbling blocks found in our habits, so we can feel lighter in our homes, minds, and bodies.
Enjoy!

[Episode 30] How to survive the stress of the holidays, growing our capacity for Loving Ourselves and Others, and closeout 2022 with clarity and confidence!
This episode is an interview co-shared interviewing (yours truly) Sacred Walker on Electric Ideas with Whitney Baker
Details:
Lucille Ball famously said, “Love yourself first, and everything else falls in line. You really have to love yourself to get anything done in this world.” In today’s episode, we bring this quote to life. I talk with holistic healer Sacred Walker about the power of self-love and how it informs all aspects of our lives, including our relationships.
Sacred works in a very multi-disciplinary capacity. She founded Kuumba Health center where she and her team offer what she describes as “self-love medicine coaching.” She is an LGBT Afro-Jamaican mental health therapist, interfaith minister, healing artist and motivational speaker.
Sacred completed seminary school, where she worked under Dr. Cornel West. Today she specializes in holistic healing, and has advanced training in drama therapy, mind-body medicine, stress reduction, mindfulness, strategic planning, well-being and mindset for success strategies. She also consults for executives at ESPN, BET and New York Times, and hosts a podcast called: Self Love for Everyday Superheroes. Her work has been featured on many noteworthy platforms, including Essence Magazine, Business Equality Magazine and Psychology Today.
Sacred teaches us how to connect more deeply with others, the importance of accepting others, and how we can grow our capacity to love ourselves. We also talked about a new definition of L.O.V.E and the power of listening to our body.
Sacred and I would love to know what you connected with from today’s episode. Share today’s episode on Instagram and be sure to tag us - @selfloveforsuperheroes and @whitneywoman!
Here’s what to look forward to in today’s episode:
-Why we sometimes push people away and how we can stop doing that
